    من یک پژوهشگر مستقل حقوق بین الملل و مخترع تنها بازی حقوق بشری جهان (منچ پله)، از سرزمین ایران با احترام برای تو نامه مینویسم. اما برایم اهمیتی ندارد این نامه به دست تو برسد یا هر شهروند آمریکایی یا اروپایی یا هر نوع از بشر در یک جغرافیا از کره زمین؛

    بدجائویی در سخنان پایانی خود به محتوای گفتگوی دو ایرانی، اثر مونتسکیو (1721) تحت عنوان نامه‌های ایرانی اشاره کرده و جمله زیبایی بیان می‌کند «مایلم سخنانم را با اشاره به متنی از مونتسکیو، یکی از متفکران و ادبای بزرگ فرانسوی نیمه اول قرن هجدهم، به پایان برسانم. در محبوب‌ترین اثر او، «نامه‌های ایرانی»، دو نفر در حال تبادل مکاتبات هستند. نفر اول این نکته را مطرح می‌کند: «من همیشه می‌ترسم که در نهایت، ممکن باشد رازی کشف شود که کشتن افراد و نابودی کل اقوام و ملت‌ها را نسبتاً سریع و آسان کند»؛ که نفر دوم در پاسخ می‌گوید: «شما می‌گویید که می‌ترسید مبادا وسیله‌ای برای نابودی اختراع شود که بی‌رحمانه‌تر از وسیله‌ای باشد که اکنون استفاده می‌شود، خیر؛ اگر اختراع مرگباری کشف شود، به زودی توسط قانون ملل ممنوع و با رضایت متفق‌القول آن ملت‌ها دفن خواهد شد» (مونتسکیو، نامه‌های ایرانی ،۱۷۲۱، نامه های 105 و 106). لذا باید بگویم که ترس‌های مربوط به مورد اول (نامه ایرانی)، به طرز غم‌انگیزی، تحقق یافته و بیش از ۷۰ سال است که وجدان ما را آزار می‌دهد. تنها چیزی که برای ما باقی می‌ماند این است که برای بقای بشریت امیدوار باشیم که قطعیت‌های مورد دوم با حقایق فردا مطابقت داشته باشد».

Mr. President; Donald Trump;

 I write this letter to you with respect from the land of Iran, as an independent researcher of international law and the sole inventor of the world’s only human-rights-based legal game (Mench Pelleh). However, it is of no importance to me whether this letter reaches you, or any American or European citizen, or any kind of human being in any geography on the planet Earth.

 Today, in the course of my studies concerning the Judgment of the International Court of Justice in the case Marshall Islands v. United Kingdom (2016), on the subject of nuclear weapons and Article 6 of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), I encountered the very beautiful critical theory of Judge Bedjaoui, which has also been published on the official website of the International Court of Justice; and I became interested in sending it to you as well.

 In his concluding remarks, Bedjaoui refers to the content of a dialogue between two Iranians in the work of Montesquieu (1721), entitled Persian Letters, and expresses the following beautiful statement: “I wish to conclude my remarks by referring to a text by Montesquieu, one of the great French thinkers and men of letters of the first half of the eighteenth century. In his most popular work, Persian Letters, two persons are exchanging correspondence. The first raises the following point: ‘I am always afraid that in the end a secret may be discovered that would make it relatively quick and easy to kill individuals and to destroy entire peoples and nations’; to which the second replies: ‘You say that you fear that some means of destruction may be invented that is more ruthless than those now in use; no; if some deadly invention were discovered, it would soon be prohibited by the law of nations and buried with the unanimous consent of those nations’” (Montesquieu, Persian Letters, 1721, Letters 105 and 106). “I must therefore say that the fears relating to the first case (Persian Letters) have, sadly, materialized and for more than 70 years have been troubling our consciences. The only thing left to us is to hope, for the survival of mankind, that the certainties of the second case will correspond to the realities of tomorrow.”
